Dear Reader:

Please see the following press release from Sewa Redbridge.
The South Park Users Group will support this community day – come and join us.

Sewa Day is October 16th 9am. Sewa or selfless service is something that gives great joy to man kind. This year we are pleased to be working with the London Borough of Redbridge, Mayor of Redbridge Cllr Gurdial Bhamra, Vision, South Park Users Group and the Sewa Team Redbridge. The focus this year is to improve the environment we live in. Trees and plants help us in more ways than one. To encourage growing plants and trees the Mayor of Redbridge is going to grow an Oak Tree in South Park. To remember the occasion a Sewa Day plaque will be positioned adjacent to the tree. This would be the first time a Mayor has planted a tree to start off Sewa Day. We hope this would encourage other Mayors to do the same in the future.

If you think you can make Redbridge healthier and cleaner please come and join us at the Wildlife Centre, South Park, South Park Road, Ilford.

This year we are emphasising on the environment. How can we make Redbridge a cleaner healthier place? How can we encourage all to be “greener”? Come and help in clearing litter, paint and clean the ponds of the parks.
